Mission

The Mission of the Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago is to perpetuate and showcase the splendor of Mexico's traditional dance, music, dress and history; and to cultivate and promote public awareness and appreciation of this rich cultural heritage.

MFDC has the following goals:

To choreograph and perform traditional Mexican dance works of the highest caliber.
To develop and sustain a diverse repertoire of Mexican folkloric dance works with their corresponding musical accompaniment and dress.
To educate, enrich, and entertain audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
To contribute to the rich cultural life of Chicago.
